Crowley noticed how quickly the other took his hand away but he ignored it. “It doesn’t have anything to do with water, darling.” He chuckled as he walked quickly. He’d gotten used to the city over the weeks that he happened to live there, the quickness of it. The path to Splash was very familiar to him and soon he found himself in front of the bouncer, getting in easily and quickly.

The music was loud, the bass banging throughout the entirety of it. Men and women, half naked were in a swarm in the middle. Their bodies moved with the music. He looked back with a grin to gauge the angel’s reaction.

The first thing that hit Balthazar was the music. Far too loud and half the words he  would not ever dare to repeat. Then his eye’s landed on the half naked humans seeming to be flailing and touching in a rather strange manner.

His face fell into a worried frown. This place seemed odd and slightly frightening. He wanted to leave now before the humans became anymore naked and or started doing anymore weird flailing.

“I don’t like it. Let’s go.” Balthazar spoke bluntly towards Crowley.

Crowley rolled his eyes and began to walk towards the bar. “I told you you wouldn’t like it at first,” Before he got too far he grabbed the other’s hand and pulled him with him. “It’ll get fun, I promise.”

He sat at one of the bar stools and practically dragged the angel into the seat next to him. He ordered two drinks and looked over at Balthazar. “Tell me about yourself, darling.”

“There is not much to tell.” Balthazar spoke with a slight annoyance in his tone. “I’m a fledgling working towards being promoted to an angel. So I can then join my brothers and sisters in our Fathers work.” He gave the general response. Not really finding it wise to tell a demon everything about himself.

Balthazar fidgeted it in his seat and kept shooting glances towards the door every few seconds. This place reminded him of what his siblings referred to as a den of iniquity. A place full of immoral behavior. A place he was sure he was not suppose to be in.

He walked past the crowds of people, glancing behind him to make sure the angel was following. The amount of places in New York that he could take the angel too was vast and he loved it. When he decided on the place he would take the angel a wide smirk spread across his face.

“Meat suits tend to take advantage of cute boys like you,” He reached back and grabbed the other’s hand before running across a street. “I’m taking you to a place called Splash, you may not like it at first but it’s fun.”

Balthazar easily kept pace with Crowley as they dashed across the street. Though the moment they were across Balthazar pulled his hand away from the demon. He didn’t understand why Crowley had just taken his hand when he could have easily just said they were going across the street. And he would have happily followed but most customs like this were lost on Balthazar.

Splash didn’t sound like the Grand Canyon. But Crowley said it was fun… Sort of. Likewise he’d give this place a try for his curiosity was still quite peeked. “Splash? …Sounds like something dealing with water,” he commented.

“Crowley, it’s a pleasure,” He turned and started walking towards the door. If he was going to get to the top, he needed to make it quick. Of course it would take time but he was determined to mix up the angel’s mind as fast as possible.

He needed to pull him down to demon level and he would do so. “You chose a hell of a city to come to,” He spoke over his shoulder as he stepped out the door.

“Really? And why is that?” Balthazar asked as he followed after Crowley. He did not know where Crowley was leading him. But he wasn’t worried. He handle anything. At least he hoped so.

Besides Crowley could be taking him somewhere amazing! Like this place called Grand Canyon. Balthazar had heard about that place. That humans came from all around the world to see it. What ever it was. So he’d just have to trust the demon for now. Because he was not going to miss out on seeing something like the Grand Canyon.

Crowley knew he had him as soon as his eyes lit up. He smirked and nodded. “Everything that you want to know, I’ll tell you,” He was giddy with all the things that he could tell him. Sure, some were more immature than other’s but by the time he was done with the angel he wouldn’t know right from wrong.

“It’ll be fun too, there’s so much on Earth that you could never experience in heaven. I’ll show you all of them and make sure that you can blend in with the little meat suits.”

He couldn’t stop the huge grin that exploding across his face. “This will be great! I wanna know everything! Foods! And places! And those other things!”

His siblings would surely disapprove of this choice but they weren’t here and chances were they were busy. So he could spend some time with this demon to satisfy his curiosity and once he’d learned enough he could return home. Simple as that. “I’m Balthazar by the way.” He added, still grinning from ear to ear.

“Good, that’ll make things a lot simpler,” He nodded and looked him up and down. “You’re new on earth aren’t you? It’s written all over you, darling. Makes you an easy target for bad people you know.” The demon tisked and shook his head. “You should stick with me, I can show you everything that Earth has to offer,”

It was true that the blonde looked too innocent to be roaming around New York. Even if he wanted to twist the angel into his own little plaything, he didn’t want someone else getting a hold of him. Demons were easy to understand and easy to negotiate with, human’s were just plain crazy.

Balthazar curiously ticked, telling him to just go along with the demon. He did after all want to know about Earth and the humans weren’t exactly being cooperative. While the demon really was being strangely nice. Balthazar knew that he could easily decimate the demon if he tried anything. So there really couldn’t be that much harm in it… Could there?

“I don’t know if I should…” Balthazar said as he nervously fidgeted with his jacket. Ever so slowly giving in to his curiosity. “…You’d show me everything?” He asked, his eye’s already alight with the millions of questions he had bouncing around his head. “And you’re not just trying to kill me, right?”

He let the demons strange words sink in. Wondering if he should believe them or not either way he had no intention of killing the other. Not unless the demon made the first move. So he simply gave a shrug with his honest response, “You do not have to worry I’m not here to kill you. Unless you give me reason to.”

Balthazar never liked fighting in the first place and hoped this conversation would not escalate into such. But it was an angels duty to be a soldier to their Father cause. To do as they were ordered without question or doubt. And so Balthazar followed his orders as such, but that did not mean he had to like them.

fledglingbalthazar:

Balthazar had landed not too long ago. He’d heard brilliant stories of Earth and all of its creatures. He’s always been rather curious about his Fathers creation. So when the opportunity arose for him to travel to the planet he happily took the mission. Despite the rather dull duty, of observing the humans, that he was given. Being on his own for the first time was strangely nerve racking. But he knew he could protect himself well enough. But there was just so much going on around him. Cars rushing by honking at each other. Humans dashing about completely oblivious to him.

It was maybe an hour or so when he’d found himself wandering into a building for no particular reason except for the enticing smell that was floating about the street. Inside there were few humans simply sitting around sipping some form of brownish liquids. But every time he tried to ask what they were drinking, they just gave him strange looks before continuing their conversations.

He was just about to give up when he felt the presents of a being he was taught to kill. A demon. His siblings called them the enemy. Though most of them feared angels and would hide from them when they were near. But this one actually approached and spoke to him.

Balthazar turned his gaze onto the demon and spoke plainly, “I have no idea where I am, but I don’t think I should be taking help from your kind. Shouldn’t you be hiding from me, demon?”

The demon couldn’t help himself and rolled his eyes, a playful smirk playing on his lips. This is the reaction he should have expected but he was hopeful that he wouldn’t threaten him so early off. “Are you going to kill me, angel? I only wanted to help you,”

Manipulation was his trade and he would go down with his lies until his very last day. If it happened to be this particular day, he told himself that he’d rather die with a lie on his tongue than the truth in the air. The angel seemed naive enough to believe him but he had been wrong in the past so he was prepared for a fight.

He let the demons strange words sink in. Wondering if he should believe them or not either way he had no intention of killing the other. Not unless the demon made the first move. So he simply gave a shrug with his honest response, “You do not have to worry I’m not here to kill you. Unless you give me reason to.”

“Hey, i’m Jo.”

“Hello~ It’s nice to meet you Jo. I’m Balthazar.”

“Nice to meet you too. Is there a nickname you like or do you just like Balthazar?”

“I go by Bal sometimes. And then there’s the occasional person that calls me Balthy. But that’s usually when they’re flirting. So I’d suggest Bal as a nickname.”

sweetheavenlyfather:

fledglingbalthazar replied to your post: I’m thinking of changing the suit color.

But I think you look nice!

Well, Thank you son but I don’t know. I rather not be associated with the boy.

But Lucifer’s cool.. Maybe he’s just trying to be like you.

that’s not creepy at all

I guess it could be worse…
And is everyone just going to start calling me angel boy now? It seems to have become a thing.

How could it be worse? getting turned on by pokemon? -chuckles-
plus i’ve been calling you angel boy.
besides. it suits you.

I don’t know what that is.. But yes. Maybe.
Crowley calls me angel boy too. I guess it’s what the humans refer to as a nickname.
